How to Recharge Batteries in Subnautica 2

Subnautica 2 Recharge Batteries

This Subnautica 2 guide shows how you can recharge your batteries in the game, so you never run out of power. While you are exploring underwater, there are many problems you will face. One of them is running out of battery power. Thankfully, there is a simple way to keep your equipment powered up. You can do this by unlocking the Battery Terminal blueprint early in the game. The location is not too far from the starting area.

Recharge Batteries in Subnautica 2

To begin, head almost straight north from your lifepod. The place you are looking for is around 400 meters away and is part of a large underwater structure called the Woo Woo Lang Hai. It is one of the biggest areas you can explore early on, so it is hard to miss once you get close. Before leaving, make sure you bring your scanner and that it still has enough battery charge left, since you will need it to unlock the blueprint pieces.

Once you arrive at the structure, swim into the first open section you can enter. Inside, on the right side, you will notice a nearby oxygen scuba tank, which is useful if your air starts getting low while exploring. Use it whenever needed, so you can spend more time searching without rushing back to the surface.

Battery Terminal Location

Just go forward from where you get the scuba tank, and the first Battery Terminal fragment can be found attached to a wall on the right. Scan it with your scanner to begin unlocking the blueprint. After that, return toward the oxygen tank and climb the ladder in front of you leading to the upper area. On the wall there, you will find the second fragment waiting to be scanned. Once both pieces are collected, the Battery Terminal blueprint becomes available for crafting.

After building the terminal in your base, you can place empty batteries inside it and recharge them whenever you need. It is a fast and convenient way to keep your tools running.
