Monster Hunter Outlanders Second Closed Beta Features New Content

This second beta build expands on the initial test with additional content and gameplay systems. Players will be able to take on the role of new adventurers, each featuring distinct abilities and playstyles that shape how hunts and exploration unfold. The update also introduces new monsters, including previously unseen “Radiant Species,” alongside more challenging encounters designed to evolve the game’s ecosystem and combat dynamics.

Exploration remains a core focus, with new regions ranging from elevated mountain regions to cavernous underground spaces. These environments are designed to encourage traversal, resource gathering, and discovery, while maintaining the series’ emphasis on dynamic, living ecosystems.

The beta also reintroduces familiar elements from the broader Monster Hunter formula, including fan-favourite activities such as cooking and camp-based interactions, providing a contrast to the more combat-heavy aspects of gameplay. Additional content teased for the test includes an undisclosed creature hinted at in promotional material, suggesting further reveals tied to the beta experience.

Monster Hunter Outlanders is a mobile-focused adaptation of the franchise, blending traditional hunting mechanics with a more open, exploration-driven structure. No final release date has been announced, with the upcoming closed beta test serving as the next major step in development. Additional details about the game will be revealed at a later stage.
