Developer Sunblink has announced the release of Hello Kitty Island Adventure Update 2.8 on the Apple Arcade. Titled ‘Sea of Wonder’, the new update is exclusive to Apple Arcade players. Apart from the new Apple Arcade update, the Scholastic Celebration and Jam Jamboree have returned to the game across all platforms.
The Scholastic Celebration is now live for all platforms, and it highlights all things back to school. With this new mode, you can suit up with sporty styles and school gear as Pochacco and Tixedosam return the team spirit to the island. The Jam Jamboree is also for all platforms. You can now celebrate the start of fall by joining the Jam Jamboree in Hello Kitty Island starting September 12. Once it goes live, you can join in on the island-wide celebration with fun mini games, sweet surprises, and berry-inspired rewards such as sugary, old-timey décor and mascot outfits.
The Update 2.8 Sea of Wonder is exclusive for Apple Arcade players as of now, and it will arrive on September 18 on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. With this new update, you can go on new quests to catch mysterious fish with Badtz-maru, try out new fishing lures, and participate in the fabulous Fishing Derby to win past seasonal items.
Some key features of the new update are detailed as follows:
- Celebrate becoming best friends with Cinnamoroll and My Melody, spend time exploring hobbies with the LittleTwinStars and the Island Spirit.
- Become adorable mice, chipmunks, hamsters, and more with the new Rodent species!
- Welcome, new seasonal Visitors to Friendship Island: the OTM Girls
Hello Kitty is currently available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED, and Nintendo Switch Lite, alongside PS5, and Apple Arcade. The Update 2.8 Sea of Wonder is now live for all Apple Arcade players, while all platforms can now enjoy Jam Jamboree and Scholastic Celebration.
