The Rogue Prince of Persia Leaves Early Access, Launches on PC and Consoles

Ubisoft and developer Evil Empire have announced the 1.0 launch of The Rogue Prince of Persia as the 2D action-platforming rogue-lite leaves Early Access. With its 1.0 launch, The Rogue Prince of Persia is now available on consoles as well, including PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Apart from PC and consoles, it is also now available on Cloud services and subscription services, including Xbox Cloud, Amazon Luna, Ubisoft+ on PC, and PC Game Pass subscribers. A Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is also in development, and it will arrive later this year.

The Rogue Prince of Persia spent over a year in Early Access and received over 15 major updates. These updates integrated community feedback into the game, such as an entirely reworked art direction, and changed color palette, a variety of new biomes, weapons, and trinkets, along with an enriched metaprogression. The Rogue Prince of Persia is set in a beautifully reimagined Persian kingdom, and it blends fluid, acrobatic combat with challenging parkour and a rich narrative of redemption.

You will navigate procedurally generated levels, uncover secrets, and meet new characters while attempting to right a fatal mistake that doomed your people. Thanks to procedurally generated levels, each run in the game offers new opportunities to adapt and evolve. You can further customize your build according to your playstyle and needs. You have multiple movement abilities like wall-running, dodging traps, and chaining stylish combos, which are required for survival.

Signed by ASADI, Persian American Electronic Music Producer and Performance Artist, the complete OST is also available to stream on all streaming platforms, including Ubisoft Music’s YouTube channel. The Complete Edition features 13 new tracks, on top of the Part 1 released in 2024.
