Developer and publisher Sunblink has announced the release of Patch 2.7 for Hello Kitty Island Adventure that brings Summertime Events and tons of other content to the game. Titled ‘City Classics’, the new patch 2.7 is live for all Apple Arcade players, while players on other platforms can enjoy the new Sunshine Celebration event. The Sunshine Celebration event begins on July 10, 2025. The Patch 2.7 – City Classics will arrive a little later on Nintendo Switch and PC players.

In the Sunshine Celebration event, you will get a chance to kick back with Badtz-maru and wear colorful shirts and big hats to celebrate the summer season in the game. You can hit the beach and collect sunscreen from around the island to exchange for some sweet tropical clothing and furniture. This event is for all platforms.
Patch 2.7 – City Classics is currently available exclusively to Apple Arcade players. This major content update adds new stories and side quests to the game.
- My Melody is searching for fabulous furniture, and Kuromi is super into pirates lately. Join them on a treasure hunt to unlock a new way to explore the island and unique furniture sets designed especially for My Melody and Kuromi.
- Retsuko’s Mom is looking for her daughter’s perfect match, but Retsuko just wants to start a band—give her a helping hand!
- Help Tsunoda snag the perfect picture of Friendship Island.
Apart from the new stories and side quests, you can also find some new items in the game. If you are looking for mementos, you can buy new Usahana and City Town souvenirs, like a commemorative mug, t-shirt, and snowglobe, in the Tourist Shop. You can also open your very own tourist kiosk in the game.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available now on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED Model, and Nintendo Switch Lite, PC via Steam, and Apple Arcade. Patch 2.7 is now exclusively live for Apple Arcade players. You can update your title and gain access to the new content right away. The developer is also teasing new updates for the game to drop soon.
