HyperParasite Releasing for Consoles and PC Next Month

HyperParasite

Troglobytes Games’ twin-stick shooter HyperParasite gets a release date announcement by the publisher. The game is set to release on April 3, 2020, and will be launching on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game features incredibly fast-paced action, thanks to the responsive controls that make it a fresh take on the twin-stick shooter. The developers would have been set to showcase the game over at GDC 2020, which was earlier postponed to a later date.

The game will come with 60 classes of hosts, where each of them can be snatched and controlled to take advantage of their unique skills and weaponry. The game is also laced with comedy and a beautiful synth-wave soundtrack that will take the players back to the 80s. Pair the music with the retro visuals and you will get a taste of the 80s.

HyperParasite is a game full of outrageous and rip-roaring brawling action that throws down the fingerless glove to its challengers.

The CEO of Trogolobytes Games Saverio Caporusso also put in some words about their latest creation.

It’s time to adjust the flux capacitors and get ready to see some serious shi!t, it’s finally time for HyperParasite to slither into homes all over the world and invade new host players! Comb your mullet, pull on that shell suit and get ready to go back to the 80s.

Here are the key features of the game:

  • A unique twist on the genre; jump from one host body to another
  • Over 60 (SIXTY!) different characters to control as host bodies
  • A unique retro 3D-pixelated aesthetic
  • Survive 5 acts of procedurally generated, grungy looking levels where secrets are hidden around every dark corner… tentacles too.
  • Trouble loves company! Bring a mate and deliver twice the carnage in local co-op mode
  • Original beats served by Van Reeves and Joe Kataldo, delivering a thumping score with a pulsating synthwave bassline, punctuating every snatch and kill
