Leading eSports Expert Zlapped Pontus Mahler Heading to BIG Festival 2019

Brazil Games has announced that Zlapped Pontus Mahler, famed professional eSports player and expert, will be joining BIG Games Festival 2019. He will be headlining BIG Festival’s program on June 26 from 10 am to 11 am at the Homs Club in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Zlapped Pontus Mahler is a Swedish professional gamer and will share his experience with the audience of the event.

During the event, Zlapped Pontus Mahler will address the rise of eSports through his own experience as he transitioned from being a world gaming athlete to the CEO of GTR which is an interactive accelerator program dedicated to supporting small studios from around the globe with development.

His program is dubbed ‘Rise of eSports’ and he will discuss how eSports has quickly evolved to become today one of the most talked about phenomenon in the entire world and he will also give the audience a detailed description of its current landscape. He will share some tips for freshers on how to best utilize the aspects of eSports for game development by going over key organizations and the mechanics of its ecosystem.

Along with Pontus Mahler’s speech, BIG Festival will also host a line-up of other panels around the same theme of eSports which are scheduled as:

  • Narratives for brands in eSports – June 27 – 10 am
  • Careers in eSports – June 29 – 10am
  • Investment in eSports in Brazil – June 30 – 2 pm
  • eSports Communities – June 30 – 3pm
  • Legislation and eSports – June 30 – 6pm

Earlier, Brazil Games also announced that the lead designer of Dead Cells is also heading to BIG Festival 2019 and will share his own experience and other problems that he went through in developing the game. BIG Festival 2019 is the 7th Edition of Brazil’s biggest gaming convention and is taking place in Sao Paulo Brazil from June 26 to June 30, 2019. During the event, competition between Brazilian and foreign games with cash prizes, an exhibition of selected games, awards ceremony, lectures, and business rounds will be hosted.
