Ramen VR is all set to launch its epic VRMMO Zenith: The Last City in the Early Access phase today. The game will be available to play on PC via Steam and PlayStation VR. The blog post announcement of the release on PlayStation VR was made by Stephen Elkins, the game designer at Ramen VR.
The blog post also shared a lot of details that players can expect from the game, which includes a visceral combat system, reimagined movement where players can climb almost any surface in Zenith, crafting and cooking food, and post-launch plans.
Starting with combat, all of the classes in the game can be played as the roles of support, tank, and DPS. Unlike other MMOs, the game has more intelligent AI that can actively dodge and block your attacks.
The two launch classes are Blade Master and Essence Mage. The former is a dual sword-wielding warrior designed for visceral close-quarters gameplay, while Mage can cast spells and channel bolts of energy through their launchers.
The most exciting part about the game is its traversal mechanic, where players can simply fly up in the air with their arms out, jump from an elevated position, and then use their wrists to control their flight. According to the developers, the flying mechanics combined with their motion-based swimming have helped create a deep layer of immersion freedom.

Zenith: The Last City will also be about cooking using food ingredients and creating delicious dishes. Each recipe will require its own set of cooking steps, and physical prep that range from simmering ingredients at the right temperature, chopping ingredients, and flipping patties to avoid burning. Though it is fun, the dishes will give you a variety of benefits like timed buffs with faster healing, increased stamina, etc.
Lastly, Ramen VR has stated that while the launch is just the beginning, there will be exciting new additions and updates that will be rolling in the coming weeks, months, and even years.
