In recent development, players around the world have been reporting that they are experiencing black screens whenever they try to sign in on their Xbox One console. The console refuses to sign them in and it takes them directly to a black screen.
Microsoft have responded to this problem by saying that they are aware of the situation and they have identified the problem causing this blackout. The company is working on to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Microsoft have issued the following statements as of now.
We are aware of reports of Xbox One console startup, title update and sign-in errors. We will keep everyone informed once we have more information to share. Thank you all for your patience.

According to the official support Twitter account, Xbox teams are working to fix the problem as soon as possible as they have identified the problem. Other than that they are simply asking the fans for a little patience during the time they fix it.
It is not common for Xbox servers to go down like this and most of the time it is Sony whose servers are down. It has been nearly an hour since Xbox Support’s tweet about the teams fixing the problems but so far the problem seems to persist.
Xbox One users can try to bypass the error and play offline by unplugging and then plugging back again and skipping online sign in however chances are that their progress might not be saved properly because it will not be synced back at the servers.
Apart from this, no other solution is working for players. The best bet here is to wait a little bit and let the Xbox engineers fix up the server problems and log in the servers safely when the problem is resolved to be on the safer side.
We will update you guys here if Microsoft announces more or manages to fix the problem.
