Xbox Game Pass offers a whole library of games for a small monthly fee. A couple of games were added to the service recently but it seems that Xbox is not done yet. The company just announced that a Mysterious new game would be added to the library this Thursday along with Ori and the Blind Forest and Shadow Warrior 2.
The announcement was made from the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account and it is as follows:
Unbeknownst to many, this Thursday a mysterious new game will emerge mysteriously from the mysterious shadows from whence it came. Also Ori and the Blind Forest + Shadow Warrior 2 arrive.
This is very interesting indeed and exciting for people that already have subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. There is a lot of speculation regarding which game this could be and people want it to be Shadow of the Tomb Raider or Middle Earth: Shadow of War. We have no idea what this new title could be but keeping in mind that Thursday is not far away, we will find out soon enough.
One of the fans asked whether unbeknownst was even a word and the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account replied, “Yes and it only took about 7 minutes to learn how to pronounce it. You could say we’re on a pretty good roll today.” This could be some kind of a hint but I could be wrong.
While we are on the topic of Xbox, it seems that cross-play between Xbox and Steam might be possible in 2019. Some leaked code hints that this might be possible and Xbox boss Phil Spencer also mentioned that he will be working to empower PC gamers on Windows. Both these things cannot be a coincidence.
