Kuro Games has announced the launch of Wuthering Waves Version 3.5 titled Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dreams. Version 3.5 not only brings new content to the game but also marks the title’s debut on XBOX platforms, including console and PC. New content included in Version 3.5 includes a new region, story content, playable characters, and gameplay improvements across various aspects.
Titled Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns, Version 3.5 expands the game with Mengzhou: Land of Xuanfang, a brand-new area to explore. Players can also continue the main story through Chapter IV, Act I, Act II, and Segue.
The update adds two new playable Resonators, Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui, while the Rover receives a new Electro attribute. Players can also obtain the new weapons Azure Oath and Firstlight’s Herald, along with fresh outfits for Lynae and Chisa.
New events included in the update are:
- Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis
- Gifts of Aftertune
- A Glimpse of Xuanfang
- Shape of Yesterday
- Recaptured: Action Highlights
- Lollo Campaign: New Journey
- Virtual Crisis: Quadrant Trials
- In Search of Lost Jade
Beyond the new content, Version 3.5 introduces several quality-of-life improvements. These include customizable voice-over languages for individual Resonators, improved Story Autoplay options, easier Guidebook navigation, enhanced filtering tools, Intel XeSS 3 Frame Generation support on PC, reduced installation size for the PC client, and improved resource cleanup on mobile devices. The update also adds new Echoes, Sonata Effects, Phantom Echoes, challenge content, and a variety of limited-time events.
Wuthering Waves is now officially available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC alongside its existing PC, PS5, iOS, and Android versions. Version 3.5 is now live across all platforms as well. Simply update your game client to its latest version to jump into the new content.
