WRC 9 Toyota GR Yaris Rally Concept Trailer

Nacon has just released the WRC 9 Toyota GR Yaris Rally Concept trailer which confirms the arrival of the Toyota GR Yaris concept car in the game. The fully optimized car will join the game in December.

The Toyota GR Yaris Concept car will be available alongside the second free update of the game to launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Game Store. The update will also be released on the next-gen consoles but will arrive at a later date.

Check out the WRC 9 Toyota GR Yaris Rally Concept trailer below:

Based on the well-known GR Yaris, this new ultra-high-performance model integrates all the cutting-edge technologies developed by Toyota for the WRC, including four-wheel drive for superior handling on roads. Specially designed for competitions, it has been faithfully reproduced in WRC 9 for fans to enjoy an authentic experience.

It certainly seems like Nacon was able to work with Toyota GAZOO racing, which is the official sponsor of the eSports WRC season, to give the players a chance to sit behind the wheel of the GR Yaris Rally concept car.

The GR Yaris is more than just a simple car, as it is the culmination of Toyota’s experience in the world of WRC racing. The development of the car benefited from the combined expertise of Toyota GAZOO Racing and feedback from some of the WRC’s top drivers.

On the other hand, the December content update will bring in the all-new Co-Driver mode which will allow two online players to race in the same car. The co-driver provides the rally pacenotes – including details on the route, bends and hazards, with complete immersion thanks to the integrated voice chat.

Lastly, Rally Portugal will now have 6 new special stages to compete in. This will alternate tracks between forests, villages, and wide open space with breath taking landscpaes.

Post your comments below and let us know what you think of the December update content of the game.
