Trash Goblin Develop:Brighton’s Indie Showcase Release Date Early Access Full of Beans Update

Indie developer Spilt Milk Studios has announced the release of the first major Early Access post-launch update Full of Beans for the cozy shopkeeping game Trash Goblin. Titled Full of Beans, the update is now live on Steam and brings a host of new features and improvements to the game, which launched with a “Very Positive” rating last month. Check out the Official Full of Beans Trailer below to see everything coming to the game in its first update:

In this latest update, you can enjoy new gameplay mechanics, upgrades, and character interactions. One of the standout features is the addition of stash upgrades. By purchasing and enhancing a Chest, you can expand their storage space for trinkets, with bonus slots available through other shop upgrades. Morning routines also get a boost with the inclusion of a stove and coffee pot, allowing you to start your day with coffee. Each cup grants an extra daily timeslot for the hardworking Trash Goblin—though only one cup per day is recommended!

Another exciting addition is the Pay-What-You-Can Box, a new tool that lets you clear out unwanted inventory while earning a bit of money. The update also introduces Raniel, a charming frogkin character with an overprotective mother, along with new quests for existing NPCs Ortici and Virgil. To top it all off, you can discover 10 new trinkets, including a bead necklace, components for an orcish dagger, and a Lich Crown accessory.

The Early Access version already boasts over 50 trinkets with 180 unique combinations, multiple tools and upgrades for trinket-care minigames, more than 10 NPCs to interact with, and hours of hand-crafted quests. You can also expand and customize their shops to suit your style, ensuring that no two businesses are the same. The first major update further increases the content available for you in the game in all of these aspects.

The game allows you to upcycle and combine peculiar trinkets into customized items that meet the eccentric demands of colorful customers. Developing relationships with regular clients unlocks opportunities to create tailored pieces for higher profits. Trash Goblin is currently available on PC via Steam and you can head over to its official Steam page to jump into the game and get involved with its future development or add it to your wishlist if you prefer trying it out at a later stage. You can also download and play a free demo to try out the game first.
