We love rumors especially those which give us high hopes such as the latest rumor which tells us that The Last of Us Part II release date information is coming this week. This was stated by a Spanish website Gamereactor.es who mentioned in their post that The Last of Us: Part II is getting a release date and a brand new trailer later this week.
Gamereactor.es is not the only website to report this rumor. Another Spanish Website Legion de Jugadores also states that same thing and are citing some sources which are close to Sony. Now we have two sites stating the same thing however since there is no official source commenting on this, we should still take it with a grain of salt.
Recently, Hideo Kojima also teased a brand new trailer for Death Stranding coming out later this week and now we have two Spanish sites stating that another huge PS4 exclusive The Last of Us: Part II is getting a new trailer and release date announcement later this week. We know that Sony is not present at this year’s E3 happening next month so this could be their move to upset the competition before the main event.
Microsoft has been saying for a long time that E3 2019 is going to be huge for them and the only way for Sony to jeopardize their event is to announce the release dates for two of their most anticipated titles in history. Despite their announcements ages ago, both Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part II have been in the dark for a long time.
As much as we would like to see The Last of Us: Part II getting a new trailer and a release date at the end of this week, we will still take it as a rumor unless we get an official confirmation on this. We will recommend that you take this as a rumor as well and do not get your hopes too high just yet. We will keep you updated if something comes up on this. Stay tuned.
