The Elder Scrolls: Blades Had a Very Strong First Week

The Elder Scrolls: Blades

The Elder Scrolls: Blades was released last week on mobile devices and it has reached the top spot on App Store in its first week. The game is still in early access but the title has reached one million downloads in its first week which is a huge milestone for just one platform. If you consider other platforms with it, this number will be much higher.

According to Sensor Tower, the title has been downloaded over 1 million times in its first week and the USA tops the region when it comes to downloads and game revenue. During the first week, the title has made nearly $500,000 revenue and considering it is a free-to-play title, this amount is huge. The USA has 42% downloads and around 76% revenue share in these amounts.

These numbers are more impressive due to the fact that the first week was an invite-only week and only players who received an invite to play the game were able to download and play the game. This just shows that a large number of players were selected for the game and out of those, a lot spent actual money to purchase different progression-based items in the game.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades was announced last year at E3 2018. It is a mobile RPG title by Bethesda Game Studios. According to Bethesda, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a massive first-person RPG title specially created for mobile devices. The game features a proper storyline which follows the main player in their quest on becoming the city’s champion.

Players have the option to create and customize their own city as they restore it to its glory. Players can also battle their friends and rivals in one-on-one Arena battles. The signature character creation is also present in the game allowing players to create their custom characters. The game features a big world full of enemies which the players will take down using a cutting-edge combat system.

The game is still in early access and the final version will be a lot more impressive and will certainly have better and more mechanics than the game in its current form. Along with mechanics, the final version will also have improved microtransactions system so at this point, the revenue generated is very impressive and the game seems to be in a very stable position as of now.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is now out on Android and iOS. Anyone with a Bethesda account can download the title.
