The Cub Gameplay

Demagog Studio and Untold Tales have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming parkour platforming game The Cub. The latest The Cub trailer showcases additional never-before-seen gameplay and gives us a slice of what we can expect from the game when it comes out. Check out the latest trailer for The Cub below before we jump into additional details:

The new trailer gives us an insight into the game’s story and tells us about the little boy who ran into the forest on the day when the water dried up and the birds stopped chirping. He ran into the forest and a group of wolves raised him up. People who managed to escape to Mars managed to survive and found themselves a better life. After some time, these people started coming back to earth and hunted animals and played golf, a reference to their previous title Golf Club: Wasteland.

One day, the boy finds one of these people dead and puts on their helmet, only to find himself listening to Radio Mars which was a major feature of Golf Club: Wasteland. The Cub plays in the form of a 2D platformer which also combines the parkour mechanics inspired by the early SEGA titles The Jungle Book, Aladdin, and Lion King however it brings its own modern twists and ideas into the formula as well. The game is set in the same post-apocalyptic world as Gold Club: Wasteland which is why you will find a lot of similarities and references to the game if you have played it.
