Tennis World Tour 2 Roster

Nacon and Big Ant Studios have just released a new gameplay trailer of its upcoming title Tennis World Tour 2.  The game is set to release this September on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, a confirmed release date is yet to be announced.

After the first successful collaboration between the two studios which say the production of AO Tennis 2, both the studios have now partnered again to bring us Tennis World Tour 2.

Head of Publishing over at Nacon, Benoît Clerc had this to say about the collaboration:

Big Ant is a specialist in sports simulation and the studio shares our gaming vision for what we want to offer tennis fans with the Tennis World Tour franchise. We are delighted to be extending this partnership and to benefit from the expertise of these passionate and talented developers.

Tennis World Tour will bring us a realistic tennis experience that will capture all of the sport’s unique characteristics and competitiveness. Over 700,000 fans from the community have given feedback for the game to be redesigned from the ground up. This includes faster gameplay that will put players’ skills and nerves to the test. There are also more animations now that have been added to improve realism and give the game some fluidity.

Big Ant Studios wanted to go one step further by offering more diverse content for the new game, so the studio has now added double Stennis and new competition that tennis players will be very familiar with: Tie Break Tens. This is a format that will consist of short matches where the winner is the first to reach 10 points. These matches are ideal when you are looking for intense matches and quick series of games.

Here are the key features of the game:

  • Highly anticipated new features: the ability to play doubles matches with up to 4 players locally and online, an improved serve system and a new shot timing mechanic
  • Multiple official stadiums, among them the Manuel Santana court in Madrid and the OWL Arena in Halle
  • 1 new competition format: Tie Break Tens
  • 38 tennis stars: the biggest names are all featured this year, including Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Ashleigh Barty
  • Multiple game modes: Career, Quick Match, Online, Tournament, Ranked Match and Tie Break Tens – there’s a format to suit every player
