Bandai Namco’s Tales of Arise has just been confirmed as a new title in the series. the announcement was made over at the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing event. Though a release date has not been confirmed, the Microsoft does say that the game is expected to launch sometime next year.
The trailer features giant fire monsters and combat that you can expect from a JPRG game. we get to see two central characters of the game. One of the protagonists can be seen fully masked, and then the mask cracks open when under duress. This suggests that there is a pretty strong sense of style and fashion as a feature that is going to be implemented in the game.
Tales series was first launched back in 1995 on Famicom and it one of the longest running RPG in the history of gaming by Bandai Namco. The company has yet again planned to bring this new title in the series as a dynamic action RPG. The game is also going to be a follow up to Tales of Berseria that was released in 2016. It will over an updated combat system.
Tales of Arise has no release date, however, we can confirm that the game would be coming for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We might get more details before eth launch of the game next year.
According to leak that was released ahead of the official announcement, the story takes place on the planet Dahna. The release states the following:
Stories have been handed down for generations and have become the truth that has masked the reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom. Our tale begins with two people, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future.
