Nintendo Hints Stage Builder Mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in an Advertisement

In an advertisement posted by Nintendo for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on YouTube, many have spotted a new Stage Builder mode that can be seen in the menu option of the game, and in the first couple of seconds of the advertisement.

The Stage Builder menu option can be seen in at the 0:02 mark of the video, and is quite blurry, though definitely an option that reads Stage Builder. The mode has previously appeared in games like the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, allowing players to create their own custom stages that could be used with a variety of components. This mode however is currently not in the latest tile in the series.

In the first couple of seconds of the ad, you can spot the menu on the TV, where the Stage builder icon is at the bottom right of the screen.

There have been many rumors flying around that indicate that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will see the return of the Stage Builder and Home Run will be coming in the game This hint more than confirms one part of the rumor about custom stages and custom building of stages.

The rumors were previously spread by dataminers who revealed the two modes that include the Stage Builder, though Nintendo has not officially announced any such mode to be coming in the game as of yet.

If the mode does come in the game, it is most likely will be included in the update 3.0 that is set to come sometime in April. An announcement can also be expected in the next Nintendo Direct event that can discuss the return of the Stage Builder mode in super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
