New Streets of Rage 4 Screenshots Released, See Axel and Blaze in Action

Streets of Rage 4 was announced earlier this year in August and it looks promising as the last title left fans wanting for more. Recently, DotEmu has released some new screenshots for the game which show the game’s main playable characters Axel and Blaze engaged in combat with the bad guys.

Streets of Rage came out of nowhere when it was announced however this time DotEmu has given the project to Guard Crush Games and Lizardcube who is behind Wonder Boy. Both these studious are developing the game while DotEmu will be publishing the title.

Streets of Rage 4 is the fourth title in the Streets of Rage franchise and it features new gameplay mechanics, a completely new story and a lot of new locations for players to explore and beat the bad guys in. The game features the same classic arcade gameplay the series is famous for while making major improvements to the overall formula.

The first Streets of Rage title was launched back in 1990s. The classic titles built their reputation on amazing gameplay and an electronic dance influenced soundtrack accompanying the action. The music on the classic titles were scored by Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima however we do not currently know who is working on Streets of Rage 4’s soundtrack.

At this point the release platforms are also unknown and so is the release date. At this point, we can see that the game is shaping up quite nicely and we are really looking forward for a 2019 release date for the game. Also Skate is also missing the action so far so we don’t know whether he will come from the third game or not in the latest title.
