A recent survey held by Bethesda suggests that their mystery IP Starfield might be heading to PAX East later this week. The survey was sent b Bethesda to its fans asking for what they want to see coming out of the Studio on PAX East which is happening at the end of this week. Starfield holds a very special place in Bethesda’s lineup at this point because it is the developer’s first new IP in 25 years.
This speculation comes from the survey which was sent to its fans and one of the questions in this survey was particularly of interest. The developer asked the fans which games are they most excited to see during Bethesda’s showcase at PAX East and one of the options in this survey was Starfield. This could be included just because the studio revealed it last year and the developer knows that fans know about the title at this point.
However, the point cannot be taken out of the equation that Bethesda might bring the title to PAX East and we might be able to see a new teaser video or maybe a gameplay trailer from their surprise new IP. This brand new IP was announced last year during Bethesda’s E3 2018 presentation however the short teaser trailer did not show much.
Bethesda itself did not reveal any new information about the title and has been awfully quiet about the title since its reveal last year. This is the most recent instance where we have seen Bethesda bring the title back in the mix by adding it to the survey. During E3 2018, Todd Howard confirmed that Starfield is ready to play so there is a chance that the title might be getting more coverage during the PAX East presentation.
We might get a proper gameplay trailer or some other information about the title so chances are we might actually get to see the game in its proper form because at this point we do not know what the game is even about other than the fact that the title is set in space. Bethesda has yet to reveal both The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield properly despite teasing them both during E3 2018.
