Spyro Reignited Trilogy might be heading to Nintendo Switch this summer. This was revealed by a retail listing which is showing an August release date for the title.
Initially reported by Gematsu, the listing is currently in place on GameStop Germany and the released date of the title is August 16, 2019. Nintendo Switch is becoming a mainstream console for most releases and it would be fair for fans to get Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Nintendo Switch as well.
Earlier, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was also released on Nintendo Switch which was greatly received by fans. Similar to Spyro Reignited Trilogy, it is also a collection of three classic PS1 remastered for the modern consoles. This shows that Spyro Reignited Trilogy can certainly come to Nintendo Switch as well.
A listing for Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Nintendo Switch has been found on GameStop Germany’s website. It gives the game a August 16th release date.

This is not the first time a Nintendo Switch release rumor has popped up for Spyro Reignited Trilogy. It even popped up on the game’s official website when Twitter user Aaron3111 pointed out that Nintendo Switch is an option in the platform drop down menu now.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy was released back in November 2018 after many delays and it contains the original three adventures of Spyro the Dragon which were released originally on PS1 console. All three versions are remastered to take full use of modern consoles both gameplay wise and graphically.
With all these evidences pointing in the right direction, I think it is right to assume at this point that Spyro Reignited Trilogy is indeed coming soon on Nintendo Switch. With the listing appearing in the game’s pre-order earlier and now it is back again, we are now certain that Spyro is coming to Nintendo Switch this summer.
