FuturLab and Square Enix Collective have announced a SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator arriving this Summer. Priced at $7.99, the SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack will release for PowerWash Simulator across all platforms and will add special new themed content to one of the most unique simulator games currently available. The new pack will be a nostalgic trip for fans of the franchise since the new pack is a love letter to the source material and is created in the distinct style of the original cartoon in collaboration with the team at Nickelodeon.
Exclusively for the SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack, the developers have given the PowerWash character model a marine makeover. With the new marine makeover, you will fit right in with the crowd as a true Bottomite, with a custom-designed power washer that could rival even Sandy Cheek’s best inventions. The Special Pack will take you to Bikini Bottom as you will get totally absorbed in a mini-campaign spanning six new maps for SpongeBob SquarePants.
The new maps will feature areas like Conch Street, The Bikini Bottom Bus, The Krusty Crab, The Patty Wagon, The Invisible Boatmobile, and The Mermalair. Along with this, the developer has also added ten aquatic achievements for the new campaign missions as well. As you can imagine, the new areas and maps are filthy, and it is something that even the residents of Bikini Bottom are left wondering as to what happened to their beautiful town after a series of mysteriously muck mishaps. You will take your gear and clean everything up before everything blows up and ends up in a mud-slinging match between Mr. Krabs and Plankton.

As the official press release details, this is just the first content update coming to PowerWash Simulator and additional expansions are also planned for the game. Futurlab has released a roadmap that teases upcoming announcements which will be officially announced later in the coming months. You can check it out on the official website. A physical release of the game is also in the works and pre-orders are now live for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch physical versions. PowerWash Simulator is now available on PC via Steam, Windows Store, and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
