SOEDESCO Studios has expanded and has opened its second studio today in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Their first studio is established in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and now they have expanded just after 4 years of opening their first one.
SOEDESCO Studios was formed in 2015 and their first game was Defunct which was a racing game. It was released on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It was developed by Freshly Squeezed and published by SOEDESCO. The studio was responsible for the Nintendo Switch port of the game as well. It was a very decent racing game and it really set the publisher on the right path straight from the beginning.
Later, SOEDESCO released many different projects such as the recently released Among the Sleep and the arcade racing game Xenon Racer. Just like Defunct, SOEDESCO helped with the Nintendo Switch port of Among the Sleep.
The recently released horror, noir title Dollhouse was also released under the umbrella of SOEDESCO. Currently, the studio is busy working on Truck Simulator and is working to bring the game on PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
In Truck Driver, you begin your journey as a rookie truck driver when you inherit a truck from your uncle and you move to a new city to pursue this career. The game offers a very big world for you to explore and deliver different types of cargo.
The world is seamless and you will get to meet different people. Build their trust with successful deliveries to land more contracts and purchase better trucks or upgrade your current ones. The game is due to arrive in 2 months.
With further expansion, the publisher now plans to continue its focus on creating its own games. This is one of the main reasons why SOEDESCO expanded to another office. With now two offices fully operational, the Dutch video game publisher is planning to develop new content which is fit for the next generation of gaming. Its eyes are now set on PlayStation 5, Xbox Scarlett and Google Stadia.
