Solo indie developer Bruno from 5Magics has announced the release of his sci-fi mobile game Nexium, a free-to-play game, on Android devices. Nexium is a space shooter inspired by classic Star Wars games and allows you to jump into different ships and destroy your enemies with a variety of weapons. In the game, you will get to explore expansive space environments where you will immerse yourself in space battles.
Check out a gameplay trailer for the title below to see it in action:
The trailer shows intense combat scenarios in a fast-paced setting as you zoom around in different Nexium features, a unique hovercraft mechanic which allows you to control your spacecraft manually, such as hovering if you slow down the speed, and move around quickly during combat scenarios if you increase the speed. Apart from high-speed battles, sometimes you will also need to slow down and engage in a more focused fight depending on the situation.
The developer details that despite Nexium being a free-to-play title, there are no microtransactions in the game. There is no monetization of any sort in the game, and the developer details that he builds it like deliberately. His main goal at the moment is to build his studio and allow players to experience the studio’s titles without any sort of paywall, and increase his credibility in the industry.
Nexium is currently available on Android devices, and if you are interested in playing it, you can head over to its official store page and download it to start playing. It is free-to-play, and it is free of all microtransactions as well.
