Saros Barriers Guide – How to Break Yellow and Red Barriers

Saros Barriers Guide

This Saros Barriers Guide shows how you can break the yellow barriers, which seem impossible, in the game. While exploring Saros, you will often run into blocked paths and sealed areas that stop your progress. Some of these are easy to deal with, but others, like the yellow barriers, can be confusing at first. These walls aren’t meant to be broken early on, so understanding when and how to deal with them is important.

Barriers Guide – Saros

Early in the game, you will notice red barriers or shields on enemies. These are simple to handle, as you can break them using your melee attack with a quick R1 button press. They are designed to teach you the basics of breaking defenses.

Yellow barriers, however, are a different story. When you first encounter them, they cannot be destroyed at all. No matter what you try, they will stay intact, which can make it seem like you are missing something. But you are not. The game simply doesn’t allow you to break them yet.

When You Can Break Yellow Barriers

The ability to destroy yellow barriers comes later in the game. Once you reach a location known as the Yellow Shore, your melee attack gets upgraded. This upgrade changes how your attacks work and finally allows you to break through these stronger barriers.

After this point, yellow barriers behave just like the red ones you dealt with earlier. You can walk up to them and use your melee strike to smash them apart without any extra steps.

Why Breaking Them Matters

Opening these barriers gives you access to new areas that were previously blocked. Many of these paths lead to extra rewards or optional routes, so it is worth going back to places where you saw yellow barriers before.

Your upgraded melee attack also works on golden containers. Instead of needing special keys for everything, you can now break some of these open directly, saving your keys for more important locked paths.
