Rover Mechanic Simulator Heading to PlayStation Today After PC, Xbox Debut

Review: Rover Mechanic Simulator

Pyramid Games S.A. and Ultimate Games S.A. have announced that their title Rover Mechanic Simulator is heading to PlayStation after its PC and Xbox debut.  The developer Pyramid Games is known for their previous titles such as Castle Flipper and Occupy Mars which is releasing soon as well. The PlayStation release is being handled by Ultimate Games S.A.

While Rover Mechanic Simulator is releasing on PS4, the game is also supported by PS5 so players can play the game on whichever console they have. In Rover Mechanic Simulator, you take on the role of a mechanic repairing and maintaining rovers in the first human colony established on Mars. The gameplay involves completing various assignments and different activities all involving various rovers built by humans.

You will start by analyzing problems with the rovers, finding their appropriate solutions, and then carrying out the necessary repairs on them. You will open them up and explore their insides, switch burned-out parts with new ones, and make sure that the rovers stay in their top condition for their working conditions. For curation of new parts, you can use your 3D printer in the office and exchange them with worn-out ones.

Jacek Wyszyński, CEO at Pyramid Games S.A. commented:

Rover Mechanic Simulator combines relaxation with educational elements. At the same time, we have focused on a high level of realism – individual models faithfully reflect the real rovers. Of course, we also decided to make some simplifications, because, as you know, the real equipment was built with a one-way trip in mind, and in our game players can repair every single rover.

Key features of the game include:

  • Become a Martian mechanic
  • Relaxing and educational gameplay
  • Faithfully reproduced rovers
  • Character and skill development system
  • Varied and engaging assignments.

Rover Mechanic Simulator is releasing on both PS4 and PS5 today, and it will release on Nintendo Switch later in 2022 as well. It is also available on PC and Xbox.
