Weapons Overview
Before we move on to the weapons and their upgrades, there are some things that you should keep in your mind about the weapons in the game. While most of the weapons in the game are acquired throughout the story, some of them are only found and obtainable once you have completed the main story of the game. Some of the weapons can only be bought from the vendor and you can also sell weapons that you do not need to free up space in your inventory.
For upgrading weapons, you can find their upgrade parts scattered around the world of the game and purchase some upgrades from the vendor as well. Throwables like the mines, grenades and pipe bombs are pretty easy to find in the game and you can also craft them yourself. If you are unable to find good weapons, simply upgrade the ones you have to increase their firepower and make them more effective in combat.

This section lists all of the weapons along with their upgrades that you can find in Resident Evil 8 Village.
LEMI Semi-Auto Pistol
The LEMI Semi-Auto Pistol is the very first weapon that you can find in the game. You get it fairly early in the game and you do not have to do anything extra as well. It is tied to the story and you will get it automatically. It can be upgraded from the vendor Duke. It comes with the following upgrades:

M1897 Shotgun
You will find the M1897 Shotgun during your very first proper Lycan encounter in the village. In the East Old Town, this shotgun is located in the house on the right side of the map. This is a little better for close encounters than the LEMI Semi-Auto Pistol and works decently against the Lycans who creep up in your face. It comes with the following upgrades:

F2 Rifle
The F2 Rifle is the first sniper rifle that you will acquire in Resident Evil Village. When you reach the roof of the Castle Dimitrescu through its attic, you will find the F2 Rifle sitting in the attic right before it leads you out to the roof. Make sure to grab it before you head out. It comes with the following upgrades:

W870 TAC Shotgun
After completing the Beneviento section of the story, you will head back to the village and go through the Garden where there is a shed next to the house. Go inside the shed and you will find the W870 TAC shotgun. You can get it after killing the enemies here. Once you have acquired it, you can find some upgrades for it to make it more effective:

| Foregrip | At the river, you will need a crank to lower the gantry. The crank is obtained during the Moreau section. Once you have it, open the gantry and use the boat to make your way to the end of the river where you will arrive at a cave. Go inside this cave and you will find the Foregrip. |

GM 79 Grenade Launcher
The GM 79 Grenade Launcher is a single-fire weapon so it packs a punch but it is extremely slow to fire. On your way to Moreau’s Reservoir, you will go through some green slime barriers. Here, if you look inside the Iron Insignia lock building next to the water wheel, you will easily find this powerful weapon. It is also marked clearly as ‘water wheel weapon’. There are no attachments for it however it comes with different ammo types and you can switch between them by pressing X while aiming to switch to a different ammo type.
M1851 Wolfsbane Magnum
You can find the M1851 Wolfsbane Magnum in Moreau’s Laboratory. It is located on your way back and you will need to use the crank to gain access to where it is located. This weapon is highly missable so make sure that you pick it up while heading back from the main area of Moreau’s Laboratory. It comes with the following upgrades:

V61 Machine Pistol
Unlocked for purchase at Duke after reaching Heisenberg’s Factory. It also comes with the following upgrades:
