After much wait, the physical retail version of Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey is now available for PS5 and PS4 across retailers. Apart from the standard physical edition which can be purchased from retailers, fans of the franchise can also opt for a special exclusive version from the official website of Gamesrocket. What makes Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey really special is that while this is a VR title, it can be played completely as a standard title as well.

For playing the game in VR, you will need a PS VR headset however if you want to stick to the normal version of the game, you are good with the standard console as well. Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey is the first Puzzle Bobble title to shift from 2D visuals to 3D visuals complete with VR support. The PS4 version of the game also offers a free upgrade to the PS5 version of the title so if you are purchasing the PS4 version for playing with the PS VR, you will get the next-gen version of the game for free.
Similarly, if you purchase the PS5 version of the game, it will come with a free download voucher for the PS4 version of the game as well since the PS4 version is required for playing the game in VR. The special editions of Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey is only available through Gamesrocket and they are currently in the pre-order phase and will release later for both PS4 and PS5. At this point, you can only get the Standard limited physical release of Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey from retailers and Gamesrocket.
ININ Games announced the release date of the title back in July and the Limited Boxed versions were announced even earlier in April. Additional details about the Collector’s Edition’s release will be shared at a later date.
