The makers of Nihilumbra, BeautiFun Games have announced that their next game Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets is all set for release next month. The narrative driven space puzzle adventure game follows in BeautiFun’s pedigree of distinctive art and story focused games. The developer also announced that a free demo of the game is now available on both Steam and Nintendo Switch.
In Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets, players play as the Professor’s personal intern. They are all set to deal with the ferocity of his collection of so-called horrible pets which are actually deceiving alien creatures which all come conveniently with dual personalities. These alien creatures look adorable and are perfectly normal until they are bothered or they become hungry. At this point, they turn into hungry monsters that stop at nothing.
Naturally, some events later all these creatures become loose on the Aurora Space Station and now it is up to you to survive and escape with your life. You will have to clear around 100 levels in which you will be required to solve different puzzles while making sure that you do not become the lunch of any of the alien creatures now roaming freely around the Space Station.
The game features a heavy dose of humor combined with a suspenseful plot while the original art is combined with traditional 2D animations delivering some very solid puzzle gameplay mechanics. The title is set to release on Steam and Nintendo Switch upon its release. The Nintendo Switch version will support all possible play modes which include portable, tabletop and TV modes. The game will support both JoyCon and controller support.

Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets demo is now live on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The title is slated to release on July 11, 2019.
