In your adventure through Lumiose City, you will hunt Pokemon, and all of them will be available in the Wild Zones. There’ll be times when you want to change the time of day, for example, to hunt Pokemon that appear only at night or day, or just to enjoy a different atmosphere. There’s a way to change the time in the game, but you’ll need to progress a bit in the story first. In this Pokemon Legends: Z-A Time Guide, we will see how we can change the time of the day by passing it.
How to Pass the Time in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
To pass the time and switch between day and night, simply interact with any bench you find across Lumiose City. However, this feature becomes available after completing Main Mission 5: “The City in the Shadow of Prism Tower.”
Before your next Rank Battle, you are free to explore the game. You can use the benches at that time.
After sitting on the bench, you will get two options:
- Kill some time here
- Hang out with your Pokemon
Choosing “Kill some time here” lets you decide whether to wait until nightfall or morning, depending on the current time. On the other hand, selecting “Hang out with your Pokemon” lets you view all six Pokemon in your party at once. It is a perfect moment for you to snap some great pictures with your Pokemon.
Also, when you switch the game to nighttime, it does more than just change the time of day. It also activates the Battle Zone. There, you will be able to face other trainers and take part in Rank-Up battles to progress further in the game.
