In a new Morgana’s Report trailer shown by Atlus, we get to see a Kasumi as a new character to join Persona 5 Royal, along with new additional content and tweaks for the base game.
The video trailer was in all in Japanese, however, we have detailed everything that was shown and is expected to come in the game. Take a look at Morgana’s Report below:
The trailer shows Kasumi Yoshizawa as a new character in action, indicating that her arcana is Faith represented by her tarot La Foi. On the other hand, Kasumi’s persona is Cinderellion that specializes in physical attacks. Kasumi fights with a Rapier and Rifle. She is good with physical attacks and the Bless magical element.
About halfway in the video, the trailer details new special treasures know as the Ishi. These can be earned when you defeat more powerful shadows. These new items can be equipped to provide powerful effects and abilities, or they can be traded in for accessories.
Follow by the treasure details, we get the see Joker use his all-new Grapple Wire. The gameplay with this grapple wire shows that Joker can travel faster in the dungeons with the wire, and even latch on to distant shadows for a stealth kill. Other than that, this tool will provide a quicker pace and looks to be a lot of fun.
Other announced changes include the gun system being tweaked. The game will now have a lot of firearm customization options that will be available at Iwai’s Store, while guns will be fully reloaded after each battle.
Atlus also revealed that the game will also have some sort of Gallery, which will allow players to revisit stills and cutscenes from the game. Other additions include new Stone items that can be gathered to produce useful items, and the new Evil Demon enemies can counter-attack when attacked by the party but can drop precious items.
