PAX West and PAX Unplugged dates have been announced and this year, the announcement comes very early. This is excellent for fans of the events so that they can have plenty of time to plan their trips to both of these events. PAX West and PAX Unplugged take place every year during the second half of the year after E3.
Just like every year, PAX West 2019 will take place this year in Seattle at the Washington State Convention Center where fans will be able to spend four days interacting with their favorite developers and video games. At this point, we do not know which developers will be present at the event because we still have E3 in the way at this point.
Once E3 2019 has passed, we will start getting confirmations about what sort of games and developers will be present at this year’s PAX West. We will have the normal routine of developer panels and video game booths at the event. More details and a detailed schedule of the event will be announced later. At this moment, we just know that the event will run from August 30 – September 2. Badge sales will start sometime later in May.
The second event to get dates is the PAX Unplugged. This is the third PAX Unplugged event and it will take place at the end of the year in December. PAX Unplugged takes place in Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia and unlike PAX East and PAX West, it focuses more on tabletop games.
However, this year, the event is planned to be much bigger than before and will also include a much bigger expo hall this year. Participants will get a chance to speak directly with different creators and participate in live tabletop gaming shows at the event. It will run from December 6 -8, 2019. Badges will go on sale from May 9, 2019.
