How to Complete
The first thing is to get the quest, which can be obtained by going to the Shopping District Entrance in the Village. This is a pretty early quest in the first part of the game, which means you will run into the old man with the quest either way. Outside the shop on the left side of it will be an old man who will tell you about this boar and how it is wreaking havoc.
As you can guess, your objective here is to track the boar and then kill it for good. While it may sound like a small task, the boar packs quite a punch and will challenge you in the battle. This also means that you shouldn’t be underprepared and take as many healing items as you can, and use them to stay in the fight.
Once you are ready, make your way to the Forest of Myth in the Northern Plains. As this is a pretty early quest in the story, chances of you being a low level character will result in an easy death especially with the boar’s one-hit charge attack. If this is the case, you can use the environment to your advantage by luring the boar to the rocks and stunning it. Stand in front of the rocks between you and the boar and let it charge attack you. When you dodge away, the boar will crash into the rock and stun for a short period. This gives you a small window to attack. Repeat this process and you will eventually beat the boar.
