Nintendo has announced that a new Dr. Mario game is in development and it come out on mobile phones called Dr. Mario World. This new game is under development with a Japanese company called Line and it is expected to come out in early summer 2019.
The Dr. Mario World will be a puzzle game and according to Nintendo, it will be free to download and will offer optional in-game purchases. This is the most common practice for launching a mobile game nowadays.
Free to play offers the players a chance to download the game and try it and if they want to invest a lot of time in the game, they will need to purchase certain items in the game with real world money to make the game easier or advance easily in its story.
This is not the first time Nintendo is releasing a video game for the mobile devices. Earlier, Nintendo Released Super Mario Run on mobile devices. Although the game was free to play however with a single purchase, players were able to access the complete game.
Nintendo is currently also working on a Mario Kart mobile game which has been delayed a little according to the developer. The news about a new Dr. Mario game came right after Nintendo announced about Dr. Mario game.
Dr. Mario is a video game which has been long forgotten by Nintendo. The last title in the franchise was basically its first game which came out all the way back on NES. It was recently added to Nintendo Switch Online NES library and thus makes sense why Nintendo wants to bring back the game.
The original title was also a puzzle game and the new mobile game is also going to be a puzzle game. No further details have been announced at this point about the video game. We will surely update here if something new comes up about the game.
