Movie Games has launched the free prologue MythBusters: The First Experiment of the upcoming MythBusters based on the legendary Discovery show. The free prologue is available publicly on Steam, while the full game will release next month on 8th June 2022.
Mythbusters: The First Experiment is a free prologue to the creative simulator game that will let players become a MythBuster in front of and behind the camera. Set your own tests, learn step by step how to perform crazy experiments, and produce new episodes for the show.

In the free version, you can explore the MythBusters Workshop and two unique testing grounds to test and perform crazy experiments, just like in the show.

- Solve puzzles in the Blueprint Zone to work out the mechanics of each myth
- Collect the materials for experiments and craft the equipment to use
- Bring the experiment to life by setting it up and testing it out
- Confirm crazy real-life variations of the myths!
Last year in 2021, the game had a successful Kickstart campaign that let the developers expand the game by adding more content like new puzzles, and customization options.
As for the full MythBusters’ official game, players can utilize the full MythBusters Workshop and other locations like the warehouse or the MythBusters Hall, along with the testing ground. There’s always a new myth to unlock, so level up to try the next experiment. Be careful and be prepared, because each experiment carries a huge risk. And remember: don’t try it at home.
