Mortal Shell: The Virtuous Cycle Teased at E3, Steam Launch Imminent

Mortal Shell: The Virtuous Cycle

Playstack revealed a brand-new teaser trailer for Mortal Shell: The Virtuous Cycle during the IGN Summer of Gaming Expo last week. However, apart from the teaser trailer, little to no information is known about the game at this point as we do not even know whether this is a new title in the franchise or an expansion to the original title. As far as our guess goes, it could be an expansion for the original Mortal Shell.

Playstack released its souls-like title Mortal Shell last year and we liked the overall execution of their project. Coming from a small studio, the game was not among the ranks of the title it is inspired from but nonetheless, it is still an enjoyable game that will keep any souls-like fan busy for plenty of hours. Another important bit to take away from the teaser trailer is that the platforms listed at the end of the teaser also lists Steam which means that Mortal Shell is finally coming to PC via Steam as well. A lot of players were asking for the game to arrive on Steam, and it looks like Playstack has finally listened to its fans and the game will finally arrive on Steam as well. However, no further details have been announced at this point.
