Respawn Entertainment has revealed that Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond will require around 340 GB for installation. Yes, you heard that right. For installing the upcoming VR title Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, you will need to have around 340GB of storage in your system however once the installation is complete, the game will reduce its size to 170GB which is still massive.
Having a 170GB requirement for a VR title is a huge deal because its size makes it bigger than nearly all of the titles released so far including the huge Microsoft Flight Simulator which requires 127GB and has the complete planet Earth with a 1:1 scale. Looking at other major VR releases of this year, the only title to consider is Half-Life: Alyx and even that game takes just 68GB on your HDD which sounds reasonable when you put it next to Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.

Along with the massive storage requirement, additional PC requirements for the game include:
- Processor: Intel i7 9700K or AMD Equivalent
- Ram: 16 GB DDR4
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080
- Storage: 340+GB for installation, 170 GB for a full install. SSD or NVMe recommended
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is slated for release on VR headsets including Oculus and Steam VR headsets on December 12, 2020. If you are planning to get this VR title, just make sure that you create a lot of empty space for the installation because, despite the smaller final install size, you will need a lot of space during installation.
