Bioware has finally revealed the release date for the upcoming remaster Mass Effect Legendary Edition along with the sweet Legendary Cache Wave 2. Bioware has announced that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will arrive on May 14, 2021, worldwide on all platforms. It will include all three games Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, and all DLC released for all three games ever.

Project Director on the Mass Effect Legendary Edition and lead writer of the original trilogy at BioWare Mac Walters said:
It’s been an incredible journey revisiting the stories, characters and iconic moments of the Mass Effect trilogy, enhancing the experience for modern platforms while staying true to the spirit of the original. Remastering a game, let alone three, is a huge undertaking as there’s over 100 hours of gameplay included, but we wanted to do this for our fans as well as a new generation of gamers looking to jump into the iconic story of Shepard.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition will bring all three titles in an enhanced visual experience featuring remastered character models and thousands of improved textures. The trilogy has also received improvements to shaders and VFX, updated lighting, and improved dynamic shadows, volumetric, and depth-of-field. The in-game cinematics have also been enhanced for all three titles.
The biggest changes are visible in the original Mass Effect title that now has added detail and depth to locations like Eden Prime, llos, and Feros. It also received a brand-new updated interface and UI and a variety of quality of life improvements all around. Gameplay has been made better as well with improved aiming, squad controls and behavior, Mako handling, and cameras making it the most definitive collection for fans of the franchise.
The collection will also include all DLC for all three titles along with every promo weapons, armors, and packs. The whole list includes:

You can now also pre-order the base game on your desired platform. Mass Effect Legendary Edition will release on PC via Origin and Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. The game will be playable on next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
