Nintendo has announced some really amazing news for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order DLC. The game has just come out and Nintendo has announced the DLC plans for the game along with some free DLC characters landing next month for all players. Along with this, dataminers have dug deep in the game files and have already found some hidden superhero files in the game.
Today is a really good day for Nintendo Switch owners because not only Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 comes out today but we also got a lot of news for the game’s DLC by none other than Nintendo itself. Starting with the free DLC, Nintendo has announced during the San Diego Comic-Con. Loki is arriving today free for everyone while Colossus and Cyclops will arrive on August 30 free of charge for all owners of the game.
Along with this amazing announcement, Nintendo also shared details about future DLC packs for the game. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will receive 3 DLC packs however all of them must be purchased with the expansion pass only. Players will not be able to purchase these expansions packs separately.

The first DLC pack for the game is Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire and it arrives on September 30, 2019. It will add Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius, and The Punisher to the game as playable characters. Following this, the game will receive 2 more DLC packs in the future which will be based on X-Men and Fantastic Four.

Moving on to even more superheroes coming to the game, Dataminer Demonslayerx8 has been busy digging deep in the game files and he has found some amazing information. According to him, the game has around 49 DLC character slots which do not include the 40 playable characters. Other slots in the game include 15 NPC characters, 30 bosses and 80 ‘background’ characters.
The dataminer also found 4 playable characters in the files which are not part of the planned DLC so it means that these characters might arrive at a later stage in the game. These characters are Black Bolt, Medusa, Vision, and Valkyrie. However, none of this is confirmed at this point so we will have to wait and see how authentic this datamine leak is.
