Sci-Fi Survival VR Mars Alive Releasing on June 18 on PlayStation VR

Mars Alive

Mars Alive is an upcoming sci-fi survival VR game which is being built for PS VR exclusively and it is releasing in the USA on June 18. The game is being developed by Step in Future and published by Winking Entertainment. This is the first hardcore survival game arriving for PS VR and it will really push the player to their limits if they want to survive the planet Mars.

Mars Alive is set on Mars and it is a semi open-world game. Players will have complete freedom on how they want to play the game. The progression is entirely based on the player. The game can be extended as much as possible before reaching its final goal. Players will need to scavenge the planet for supplies and try to survive.

However, if the player does not want to explore the rest of the planet, they can simply live in their cabin and grow crops nearby. However, this will not lead the player to the end of the game as Mars Alive features different endings based on player choices. The planet Mars is full of danger and different troubles which has to be solved by the player and only then, they will be able to reach one of the endings of the game.

The game integrates game time with reality which allows players to experience the game on an elevated level. The total game time is eight hours which equals one day and players can simulate the same experience of one day while playing the game using this feature. The game also features realistic environments which will force players to get out of their comfort zone.

Players will need to micro-manage their own need such as hunger, thirst, and fatigue while making sure that the placing they are living in is well-managed and fully stocked on supplies as well. Mars Alive will give players plenty of different crops to grow and get some food items from their own produce allowing them to become a farmer of Mars.

If the player gets bored farming, they can always jump in a vehicle and explore the planet of Mars to solve some puzzles and riddles while facing different sorts of dangers at the same time. This sounds like a good diversion for a farmer that is bored of doing the same thing, again and again, every day. Mars Alive is played in the first-person camera giving a more immersive experience with VR.

Mars Alive is releasing on PSVR on June 18 in NA, June 19 in Europe and June 20 in Asia.
