Few latest games were launched under the piracy protection of latest Denuvo DRM update. The list of games includes: Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Yakuza 0, Dragon Quest XI, and Monster Hunter World.
Since the latest update of Denuvo DRM is cracked, we speculate the above mentioned games could get cracked any time soon. Shadow of the Tomb Raider launched few days back and its one of the anticipated titles of this year. Denuvo DRM aims to secure the early sales of a game on PC-platform, looks like they will not be able to do that with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
This potentially may end bad for Crystal Dynamics as we also came to know recently that Shadow of the Tomb Raider hasn’t performed great in its launch week. In comparison to the first game in the reboot trilogy, sales were down 70 % in UK. The charts are still topped by Marvel’s Spider Man as it continues its amazing week of sales as the Playstation 4 exclusive.
Although Shadow of the Tomb Raider will have sold many digital copies rather than the physical copies, the sales number are just a little higher than the recent Rise of the Tomb Raider, which had only released for Xbox One unlike Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We still have to wait and see if the number of digital copies sold will alter the picture somewhat.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is probably one of the most eagerly anticipated games of the year. After the success of it’s predecessor Rise of the Tomb Raider, fans have been waiting for the next installment. Shadow of Tomb Raider, follows our favorite explorer Lara Croft into the South American forests. This year’s game has vastly improved on the over all layout of the plot, game play and graphics to make it a wholesome experience for everyone.
