Sony has announced the PS Plus games coming in July 2019 and it seems like a good month for sports fans. The games included in next month’s PS Plus subscription are PES 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. After Sony decided to stop giving out PS3 and PS Vita titles in the service, the list of free games has dropped down to just two games from six games.
Players who are currently subscribers of PS Plus can download these games next month and keep them until they remain an active member of PS Plus subscription. Coming to the games, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is the main rival of FIFA 2019 at this point but with FIFA 20 coming out later this year, PES 2019 is only going to lose even more traction.
The game pretty much follows the same formula of FIFA and comes with a big selection of real-world licensed leagues and familiar faces playing in them. It also comes with its own unique career modes called myClub and Master League in which the players can create and play with their own customized teams. The game also supports local play with up to 4 players and online features so that players can take the competition online.
The second game coming next month is Horizon Chase Turbo. If you have played the classic racing games such Outrun and Rush, the formula of Horizon Chase Turbo will be extremely familiar to you. The game features the similar 16-bit themed modern visuals, an amazing soundtrack, and exotic cars along with beautiful tracks for you to drive these cars on. It also comes with classic couch co-op which is very unique in racers these days.
It supports co-op with up to three other players who can jump in the action with you and race exotic cars, based on real-world exotics, on exotic locations. Locations in the game are pretty familiar if you have played the classic racers and they range from volcanoes to coastlines featuring sunsets.
July PS Plus games will be live on the PSN in July and will remain there until August 5. If you are still missing the PS Plus games for this month, make sure that you add them to your library as they will be gone soon.
