If you love racing games or driving games, then I am sure that at some point Jalopy would have come across your eyes. It is a very unique driving game which puts you in charge of an old, rusty Laika 601 deluxe and you have to travel in it. Jalopy has always been a PC exclusive title however it is about to change the rules and we now have a release date for its Xbox One debut.
Developer Minskworks and publisher Excalibur Games have announced that Jalopy is making its debut on Xbox One on November 1, 2019, and the pre-orders for the game will start from October 1, 2019. This gives you a complete month to pre-order the game before it comes out on Xbox One. Ever since Jalopy was released on PC in its full form last year, fans have been dying for the game to come on consoles as well.
In Jalopy, players go on a road trip in their rusty and busted Laika 601 Deluxe which is only a single flat tire away from the junkyard. Your main goal in Jalopy is to ensure that your car stays operational and you arrive at your destination. The game will throw miles after miles at you and the car will require work after work such as change of tires, carburetor problems and many others.
You will be required to keep a close eye on your car’s condition and fix different problems before the car is ruined completely. You will need to check the engine, tires and even your trunk space to ensure that everything is in top condition and you have all the supplies you need for your journey. The game will continuously pit you against different challenges and you will need to figure out how to solve them in order to continue on your journey.
Jalopy is slated for release on Xbox One on November 1, 2019.
