This Beast of Reincarnation guide explains how you can respec your attributes and skill points if you want to change the build you have been using. To do this, you must first reach the Ancient Civilization Zone and progress through a specific part of the story. Once unlocked, you can use the communicator to contact Mikoto and exchange Amber to reset the points you’ve spent on Emma or Coup.
How to Unlock the Respec Option in Beast of Reincarnation
You won’t have access to the respec feature from the beginning of Beast of Reincarnation. The first thing you need to do is go through the story until you get to the Ancient Civilizations Zone.
Once you’re in this area, continue completing the main campaign missions. The key condition is to beat the boss with an electric sword. This boss is close to the Raging River fast travel point. After you have defeated the boss, you’ll encounter another character called Mikoto. Later, you will have the option to reset your character’s points by meeting Mikoto.
After this section of the story, you can go back to the Cleanse Walker. You don’t have to manually get back there, since you can use any of the fast travel points that you’ve unlocked. Head towards the exit area after arriving at Cleanse Walker; you will see Communicator stands just to the right of the exit. Engage with it to display the communications options. You can communicate with Mikoto from the communicator. You will have to call her and will be asked to reset the attributes for Emma or Coup.
How to Reset Your Points
After getting in touch with Mikoto, select the character whose points you would like to reset. The game will display the number of skill points (SP) and attribute points that will be returned prior to confirming the reset.
There is, however, one important consideration to be made as far as cost is concerned. Make sure you have a significant amount of amber before you try to respec, as it is a requirement for resetting your points. For example, it will cost 800 Amber to reset the attributes of Coup, and 900 Amber to reset the attributes of Emma.
The respec option is especially helpful when you’ve been working on one skill path, and then later decide you want to switch, as you don’t have to lose the points you have already spent; you can reset them by using Mikoto’s reset feature.
After the reset, you can then use the points you got back to spend on what skills or attributes you really want to use on the skill tree. This allows you to change your character’s setup without having to continue with the original path.
After unlocking Mikoto’s respec option, you can go back to the Cleanse Walker, then follow the communicator to the exit to call her whenever you want to change the effect you can see and the skill points you can buy.
