IceTorch Interactive and Ultimate Games S.A. have announced that the Nintendo Switch port of the PC title Help Me Doctor is releasing on February 10, 2020. Released back in October 2016 on PC, Help Me Doctor allows players to step in the shoes of a doctor who diagnoses and cures (or not) patients that visit his clinic. Ultimate Games S.A. has worked to port the PC title to Nintendo Switch.
In Help Me Doctor, you play as a doctor and diagnose different diseases in your patients. The game features a unique and interesting system for the recognition of diseases in patients. This system requires extremely proper reading of symptoms otherwise you will end up diagnosing a completely wrong disease in the patient.
While diagnosing the disease, you will have to take into account a whole range of different elements. These include documentation, signatures and patients’ reports of symptoms as well. Every time you meet a patient, they will tell you some of the symptoms that they have been experiencing regarding their health that will help you determine their disease.
Key features of Help Me Doctor include:
- Many patients
- Diagnosing symptoms of diseases
- Moral choices
- Diverse sicknesses
- Random events
Help Me Doctor also comes with a moral system. Since you are a doctor, you will be required to manage your time for patients. Each patient will take a bit of your time so it will be up to you to decide whether you want to check as many patients as you can or check fewer patients and provide better services.
Seeing more patients will mean more patients but it will also mean that you are browsing through them quickly. Some people will try to bribe you while sometimes VIP patients will demand something out of the ordinary. Ministry of Health will also send inspectors regularly to inspect your clinic. All of these mechanics when combined will yield some challenging days in the clinic.
