GTA 5 was originally released back in 2013, and today, in 2019, it is still one of the highest-selling games in the world, so we decided to make a GTA 5 Cheats guide for everyone to have some fun in this amazing game. GTAs are known for their cheat codes because everyone wants to have a little fun in the open world of Grand Theft Auto. Some of these cheats will allow players to perform things that they would not be able to do in normal circumstances.

When it comes to cheats, GTA 5 is not short of them. It comes with some of the basic cheats, which include getting better weapons to increase your health back to full. Naturally, using these cheats does come with some consequences, such as locking your achievements/trophies. If you are a trophy/achievement collector, we would recommend that you stay away from these cheats and do not save while a cheat is active.

GTA 5 Cheats – How to Activate?

Since GTA 5 is on different platforms, you have different methods for inputting codes on each platform. On PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, you can simply use the commands on your controller by pressing the required buttons in a sequence, and the cheat will be activated. On PC, however, you can either use the phone to dial the numbers for the cheats, or you can press the tilde (~) button to enter the cheat and activate it.

It is as simple as that. However, we would recommend that you do not save your game while a cheat code is active. You can have fun in the game with all the cheats you want, but if you save your game, it will lock down certain trophies/achievements. With that said, below you will find a list of all the cheat codes that are related to gameplay in GTA V.

All Gameplay Cheats

Below, you will find the list of all GTA 5 cheats that are related to gameplay in GTA 5. The codes are the same for related platforms, which are PS4 and PS3 and Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Maximum Health and Armor

With this cheat, you will have full health and armor in a blink. Exceptionally useful while you are in a police chase.

Spawn All Weapons

With this cheat code, you will get every weapon in GTA 5 in your inventory, along with maximum ammo for all of them.

Spawn a Parachute

With this cheat code, you can spawn a parachute at any time in GTA 5.

Invincibility

With these cheat codes active, your health will never decline, and you will never die. You can take an infinite amount of punishment while this cheat code is active; however, it will remain active for only 5 minutes, so once the code is nearing its end, find a safe spot to enter it again.

Explosive Ammo

With this cheat code, all your ammunition, when fired, will have an explosive end when it lands on the enemies. This is very effective against vehicles.

Incendiary Ammo

With this cheat code activate, every shot will set enemies and objects on fire. This is super effective against enemies on foot.

Slow Down Aim

With this cheat, every time you aim down your sights, the game will slow down time, allowing you to aim for any body part of your enemies. You can stack up this cheat up to four times. Every time you enter the cheat, time will slow down even further. Enter the cheat a fifth time to cancel the cheat and return the aiming back to its normal speed.

Explosive Punch

This is by far my favorite cheat code in GTA 5. You can enter this cheat, walk around casually, and then punch any NPC around you to send them flying with an explosive punch. All melee attacks that you land on NPCs, enemies, and other objects will turn explosive with this attack.

Super Jump

Another handy cheat code that will allow you to jump very, VERY high in the game. If you hold down the jump button, you will jump even higher.

Swim Fast

This cheat will increase your swimming speed massively, and you will be tearing down waves in no time.

Run Fast

This cheat code is similar to the last one apart from the fact that it works on the ground and not in water. With this code, you are able to run very fast.

Recharge Special Ability

This cheat code will allow you to instantly refill Trevor’s, Franklin’s, and Michael’s special ability in the game. It is represented by the yellow bar near the health and armor bars.

Drunk Mode

If you’ve gone drinking in GTA 5, then you would know how drinking affects your character’s movement and actions in the game. If you want the same wobbly effect without going to the bar, you can use this cheat code and activate the drunk mode at any time.

Skyfall

If you love diving down through the air without a parachute, then you would like this cheat. Activate this code, and it will spawn you in the middle of the air, high from the ground, without a parachute. The chances of you surviving the fall depend on where you land.

Increase your Wanted Level

With this cheat code, you can increase your Wanted Level at any time in the game.

Decrease your Wanted Level

This is not the most effective cheat code because every time you enter it, it will remove one star from your current Wanted Level.

Moon Gravity

With this cheat code, your gravity will decrease, making your car drive like it is driving on the moon without any gravity.
