Polyphony has released a new April update to Gran Turismo Sport which brings 5 new cars into the game. Typically, an update usually brings additional cars and a new track during the end every month in Gran Turismo Sport. The April update though comes without a track.
The update is now live for PlayStation 4 owners, and the file size of the update is 1.75GB. In addition, there are also new GT League events that have been added to the game.
The sim racer is getting some very classic cars that everyone will be familiar with. Starting with the inclusion of Porsche 962 C ’88, which is the biggest addition in terms of performance. This car was famous in the prototype racing in the 80s and 90s and took over 20 series titles, and two overall Le Mans victories.
Other cars include more classics, with the Renault R8 Gordini and Toyota Sprinter AE86 tofu delivering car from the classic Japanese street racing manga series. Another car returning from GT6 is the first generation Audi TT in its V6 form. This car was Audi’s first road going vehicle to make use of its dual-clutch transmission.
Lastly, there is a Honda car coming into the N100 class of the game. The Honda Fit Hybrid is making its way into the game, and it will interesting to see what track use this car will be of.
