This God of War Lookout Tyr’s Temple Locations Guide focuses on all collectibles present in Tyr’s Temple. There are 9 collectibles in this region that you must collect. We have detailed the collectibles in a sequence so when you start the area, you can collect all of them easily without missing anyone in between when you explore the area.
Before you begin collecting in this region, make sure you have gone through and collected everything else in Midgard. Keep this area as your last priority.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 1 – Mystic Gateway
This is starting in the main hub area of the game, where in the room there is Brok’s Shop. Look straight ahead from the shop where there will be the Mystic Gateway.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 2– Legendary Chest
Exit Brok’s shop and head downstairs from whichever side you want to. When you reach down there will be door that you can go through, behind the door will be a sand-bowl. Have Atreus interact with the sand-bowl which will take you further down into the Temple. After you get off the elevator to the ground floor, the legendary chest will be on the left side in plain sight.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 3 – Nornir Chest
In the same area as above, the Nornir chest is in a backroom straight ahead from the elevator. Continue straight ahead, and at the end there will be a wall with a spike trap. Once you reach the Chest, you are required to destroy 3 runes to open it. One is under the spike wall trap, freeze the spike trap and then destroy the rune. The second rune is in the circular room just before the Nornir Chest. The third and final Rune is visible from the same room. A tunnel with spike traps crashing down from the ceiling will have the run on top of one of the trap. It is very well hidden and you can only spot it when it comes crashing down.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 4 – Lore Marker
In the same area, head back to the main room. Look for a big ball hanging from the ceiling where the elevator is. Climb up a wall where you will find the Lore Marker.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 5 – Purple Language Cipher Chest
From the Jotnar shrine, lead two paths with different traps. One with saw blades, and the other with spike ceiling traps. Take the path with traps to access the Chest right at the end.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 6– Lore Marker
This Lore Marker will be right next to the Purple Language Cipher chest that you opened in the previous step.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 7 – Legendary Chest
Head back the trap paths to where the Jotnar Shrine is. Take the other path with the Blade traps. Halfway into the path will be a door that you can put a green energy ball to open. Behind the door will be your Legendary Chest.
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 8 – Purple Language Cipher Chest
Continue into the saw blade trap path and at the end of it will be the Chest
Tyr’s Temple Collectible # 9 – Lore Marker
This lore marker sits next to the Purple Language Cipher Chest, found at the end of the blade trap path.
