How to Get a Tank Early in Far Cry 6
When you start playing on Isla Santuario at the start of the game, keep playing the story until Clara Garcia asks you to recruit Benito Menguez to the cause. After accepting the mission, instead of going to Benito, first, go to the west of the island and you will find the Military Target Cabeza Fuel Depot. Take over this fuel depot to add it to your safe houses and this particular spot will give you a Vehicle Point as well. You will need this to add the tank to your mission.
Now follow the mission waypoint and go speak with Benito. Benito will ask you to capture this very fuel depot and kill Rosario, the Lt. keeping the military sites in check. Since you have already captured the fuel depot, your task now will be to head to another military checkpoint where Rosario is present and to kill her. After arriving at the checkpoint, you will find that this location has two tanks.
One of the tanks is located outside the check post while the other one is sitting inside the check post. Go to the tank sitting outside the check post and quickly get inside it. After you get inside this tank, make sure that you destroy the other tank as soon as possible before soldiers can get inside it and blow you up. After the tank is destroyed, kill everyone else including Rosario, and just drive the tank back to the Vehicle Collection spot at the Cabeza Fuel Depot. This will add the tank to your collection, and you can call it later from any other Vehicle Point on the entire map.
